About the Role: UI/UX Designer

Based in Chester, with flexible hybrid working, you’ll play a key role in designing stunning, user-focused digital experiences that delight players and users worldwide. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for gaming and entertainment platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand target audiences and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that bring concepts to life.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver cohesive designs aligned with client goals.
• Maintain and refine design systems, ensuring consistency across projects and platforms.
• Use data and user feedback to iterate and improve designs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and gaming.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in digital design, gaming, or entertainment.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and usability best practices.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles for cross-platform experiences.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with motion design and animation tools such as After Effects.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to communicate effectively with developers.
• Experience working on gaming interfaces or interactive entertainment projects.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines in digital design.
