Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless, user-centric e-commerce experiences.
  • Monitor product performance using analytics tools, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are prioritized throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration.
  • Create detailed documentation, including product specs, user stories, and workflows, to support development teams.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
  • Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Aha!
  • Experience working with UX/UI teams to create intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to track product performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of emerging e-commerce technologies such as headless commerce or PWA (Progressive Web Applications).
  • Experience in payment gateways, subscription models, or marketplace platforms.
  • Certifications in product management methodologies, such as Pragmatic Institute or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and design thinking processes.
