About the Role: Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Project Manager to join a cutting-edge gaming and entertainment company based in Liverpool. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-profile projects across game development, marketing, and operations, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. You will work closely with creative, technical, and commercial teams to drive project success in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring all milestones and objectives are achieved.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game developers, designers, marketers, and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project performance, identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions to maintain momentum.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and adjusting plans as required.
• Champion best practices in project management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with at least 5+ years in a senior-level role.
• Strong background in gaming, entertainment, or a similar creative industry.
• Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches as needed.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive collaboration across diverse teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects on time and within budget.

Desirable:

• Experience managing projects in game development or digital entertainment.
• Familiarity with game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master.
• Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting in project management.
